Peer Support Specialists have time for those clients who need an extra level of one-on-one care. They provide peer coaching, assistance with community resources, coordination of medical services, help with accomplishing other personal life goals, and sometimes, just someone to chat with when times have been particularly tough.
At Ease USA offers 1:1 Peer Support Services to our military veterans. AEU’s Vets4Vets program creates opportunities for veterans and service members to heal together. Our Peer Support Specialists create a bridge between informal peer networks and the formal healthcare system, including therapists in AEU’s Preferred Provider Network. Peer Support Specialists are qualified to offer immediate crisis relief and to offer support as liaisons between clients and therapists to develop individualized treatment plans.
